Belinda Hewer

The Artist, Belinda Hewer, is a prolific painter of Wildlife and Faces. She uses a painting knife to create the effects of movement in her work and brushes only for the fine detail. She aims to bring life to her artwork by using varying degrees of tonal contrast, yet leaving out enough detail to engage her viewers to visually complete the picture and become a part of the process.

Belinda signs each work with SDG - Soli Deo Gloria; so as to give credit to God for her talent. This gives her motivation to continue to explore and push herself to discover further possibilities of growth and skill.

She loves travel and finding her own resources to paint from, as well as teaching Art and encouraging others to grow and to enjoy the possibilities of Art.
